OK, gang. Here’s something new called Lucky 7 Meme. I’m going to quote 7 lines from my current book, Sheikh Without A Heart, starting at the 7th line of the 77th page. (Trust me, I don’t get it, either.) This is my heroine, Rachel, talking to my sheikh, Karim, as he carries her onto his private plane.
Here goes:
She pulled back as far as she could in his hard, encircling arms.
“I said, don’t they click their heels?”
“They do,” he said, “but only on state occasions.”
Her eyes went to his. Okay. It was a joke; she could tell by the look on his face. At least there was something human about him.
“You can put me down now.”
“Can I?”
“Put-me-down!”
Now, I get to pick 7 lucky authors to torment into doing the very same thing with their own books on their webs or blogs. Yuo can check and see who’s done it or who hasn’t—and, you lucky 7, I absolutely absolve you from having to do this!
The lucky 7 are: Susan Stephens, Carole Mortimer, Day Leclaire, Barbara Bretton, JoAnn Ross, Michelle Willingham, Robyn Donald.
